shining bright and strong
steering me clear of sharp rocks
so that i may stay afloat a little longer
without a guiding light i will be lost

if i am an automobile then you are my map
taking me to the other side of the world
or just simply a few miles down the road
with a million possible destinations
route by route i follow you

holding me tight to my path
