It amazes me so
the way it all goes
manipulative souls
power-hungry foes
all gain control
pretending to befriend
just to hide intentions
all for the power
dishing out lies
and false truth
saying one thing
to gain the trust
never following through
a life based on power
is a life wasted
the people should know
rebellious and free
is the only way to live
